Haven't written for quite a while...but it's not like anyone even reads this stuff. So we started testing, *yawn* Mrs. Erickson is more crazy than ever in homeroom, if that's possible because she's always very strange. The teachers are torturing us yet again with another horrific project. This time it's a research paper worth 6 weights on the Civil War. I just got my Civil War Notebook back and I got 150, and boy did I work hard on it! The days go by very slooowwwwllllyyyy and the weather is getting weirder by the week! I mean it's May, isn't it supposed to be all bright and sunny with flowers in bloom? Instead it's all craapy outside, cold, dark, dull, and rainy. Jeez, I can't for summer and the weather in HAWAII!! I'm so excited!

Returned from Disneyland at 2:00 A.M. last night, well technically this morning, and I had a blast! Our performances each went well, and the hotel in which we stayed was sweet. I think it was a 4-star hotel, equipped with a mini bar, two queen size beds, and a tv with a keyboard type machine as its remote control! Wow...I sound like a commercial...Anyway we were at Disneyland for about 13-14 hours the next day, and at 9:00 P.M. we all went to the Heritage Festival Awards Ceremony, the name of the competition we each were enrolled in. Concert Band received a gold, first place award but were up against only another middle school band. Vocal Ensemble received a gold first place award and were up against many middle school choirs. We (orchestra) got the gold, second place award, and were up against many middle school orchestras all of which were advanced. Not only did each group get those awards, but additionally, vocal ensemble got the trophy for the highest score in all high school and middle school choirs and orchestra/band  got the trophy for the highest instrumental scores of orchestra and bands combined out of all the middle and high schools! We seriously stole every major award and it was amazing how the whole VVMS group was cheering and jumping and screaming. Anna Schuster and I were leaping like 2 feet into the air, literally. And at the end, we all gathered together into a circle and held up the trophies and plaques and were screaming "VALLEY VIEW! VALLEY VIEW!" It was great...one memory I shall NEVER forget...Too bad it ended so soon

These past few days have been hilarious...honor society practices...tyler's finger puppet (a.k.a. "Eugene") lol...kailey, gabby, and I stealing it...Kent and I almost throwing it in the mud or on the roof...well that's it in a nutshell. If you were there, it was really funny. Oh, and thank you again Melissa!

It's finally Friday..and that means in one week, the music department is leaving on the festival trip. I'm pretty excited.

Today was a great day, except for the freezing wind that blew my hair in my face every second. So annoying...

NEHA told me her defintition of a prep: "one who is disturbingly ugly, and tries to cover up their hidiousness by wearing tons of makeup and dressing in expensive brand name clothing."  Besides that nothing else really happened..

Finally, don't have that much hw today, if you don't count a 150 point research project and a poem interpretation project both due in two weeks.

I'm really in the mood to just run and get rid of some energy right now....

I'm thinking of joining a club soccer team my friend from P.E. constantly tells me to join, the S.A.S. kickers girls team. The thing is, it's pretty late in the season, and I'm not sure if I'm good enough! I don't know..                                                                                   I really need to work out more if I want to do track and soccer in high school. I guess I am in pretty good shape, though, because I recently got 2nd on the Cross Country! I'm just worried that I won't make it on both the club team and the high school team, because many girls are playing on actual teams currently..and I haven't played "professionally" since quite some time ago. My biggest problem is, I'm a little rusty...maybe somebody could 'train' me? Nah...
